    2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: A Refreshed Look

The Lime Green colour gets new graphics

For 2026, Kawasaki is offering the NInja ZX-6R in one colour option called Lime Green. It features white and blue streaks across the fairing and bodywork which gives it a nice contrast compared to the Lime Green option on the older model. It would be nice if Kawasaki also offered a new version of the grey colour option that gives the bike a stealthy look. Personally, that is what I would pick if I was going to buy a sharp and sleek sportsbike.

2026 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: Engine details

    Remains mechanically unchanged

Mechanically, the bike remains unchanged with the 636cc, in-line-four cylinder, liquid-cooled engine putting out 129hp at 13,000 rpm (max power with RAM Air) and a peak torque of 69 Nm at 11,000 rpm.

The bike is equipped with convenience features like a slip and assist clutch, a TFT screen, power modes, and a quickshifter. Additionally, safety features include three levels of traction control, dual-channel ABS, and KIBS (Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System).

The previous iteration of the bike was priced at Rs 11.09 lakh, making the 2026 model Rs 60,000 more expensive. That is quite a steep increase in pricing just for a new colour scheme but the Ninja ZX-6R is still a very attractive proposition considering it is the only in-line four cylinder sportsbike available in its segment.
