The Volvo EX30 SUV will launch in India in the coming months. The Volvo EX30 electric SUV is has been positioned globally as the brand’s entry-level electric SUV that's aimed at younger customers. The EX30 SUV is 4.2 meters long and has a lot styling cues borrowed from the larger EX90 flagship SUV from Volvo. Additional design details for the Volvo EX30 include Volvo’s signature ‘Thor’s Hammer’ headlights. It will be offered with wheels ranging from 18-20 inches and in five colours, including a new Moss Yellow that’s inspired by lichen that grows on rocks on Sweden’s west coast.
As far as electric powertrain goes, the EX30 SUV in India will come with 69kWh battery with up to 474km range (claimed). Additionally, to keep costs in check, Volvo India is planning to locally assemble the EX30. The EX30 will rival the Mercedes EQA and the BMW iX1 LWB electric SUVs in India.
