Volkswagen Golf

The Golf GTI is one of Volkswagen’s most iconic models globally, and will make its way to the Indian market in limited quantities as a full CBU (completely built unit) import. The India-spec Golf GTI is the facelifted version of the sporty hatchback’s 8th-gen iteration - dubbed Mk 8.5 - and comes with Volkswagen’s popular EA888 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that develops 265hp and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The Golf GTI’s feature list includes sports seats, tartan upholstery, infotainment touchscreen, digital driver’s display, LED headlights and tail-lamps, etc. The Golf GTI will compete with the Mini Cooper. VW Golf GTI price is estimated to start at Rs 50 lakh (ex-showroom).
