The TVS Raider SSE remains mechanically unchanged

Like the earlier Super Squad versions, these new additions feature bespoke graphics and colours tied to the characters. The Deadpool edition comes finished in a black-and-red theme, with the Deadpool mask on the fuel tank and the character logo on the rear body panel. The Wolverine edition uses a blue base with yellow highlights, mirroring the superhero’s costume from the recent Deadpool & Wolverine movie, and features similar logo placements.

Mechanically, the Raider remains unchanged. It continues with a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine producing 11.4hp and 11.2Nm. The SSE also gets TVS’ iGO assist, which adds an extra 0.55Nm of torque in ‘boost’ mode and GTT (Glide Through Technology) for smoother low-speed riding.

The TVS Raider line-up now comprises six variants: Drum, Single Seat, Split Seat, iGO, SSE, and the top-spec SX, which distinguishes itself with a TFT display (the SSE uses a reverse LCD unit). Deliveries of the new Deadpool and Wolverine colourways are expected to begin at dealerships later this month.
