Toyota Urban Cruiser EV price is expected to start at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). The Urban Cruiser EV is based on a platform co-developed with Maruti Suzuki. It will be offered with two battery options; a 49kWh and a 61kWh LFP blade-cell battery pack, both supplied by BYD. The 49kWh version uses a front-axle mounted motor producing 143hp and 193Nm, while the 61kWh version produces 173hp and 193Nm. Toyota has not officially announced range figures, but the 61kWh version is expected to offer a driving range of over 500km. The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV rivals include Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, and MG ZS EV and the upcoming Maruti E Vitara. The Toyota Urban Cruiser EV features include a 25.65cm touchscreen infotainment system, 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, two-spoke steering wheel, and a cleaner, more subdued exterior design with slim headlamps, a chrome band, and vertical air vents, with many more to be revealed closer to launch.
