The Vinfast VF 6 expected price will be around Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the single motor, fully loaded VF6 Plus variant, which will launch later this year. It will be preceded by the launch of the VF 7 SUV. The VF 6 will rival the Mahindra BE 6, the Creta Electric and the Maruti e Vitara SUV at launch. The VF 6 design is similar to the larger VF 7 with a wide V motif, and headlamps and fog lamps placed lower down on the bumper. Standard equipment includes a 12.9-inch touchscreen control centre with over-the-air (OTA) updates. The VF6 is 4.3 m long, 1.8 m wide and 1.6 m tall, with a generous 2.7 m wheelbase, which is bang in the centre of midsize SUV territory. The safety front gets 7 airbags as standard, an electronic parking brake, a 360-degree camera array, park assist, automatic headlamps and wipers, as well as ADAS with Level 2 autonomy. It will get a 204hp motor with 310 Nm through FWD.
